HOW EASILY DO YOU QUIT?

don't be a quitter

Here is a great story I found in Napoleon Hills famous book, Think and Grow Rich. He tells us the story of R. U. Darby.

"Darby’s uncle had gold fever, so he staked his claim and started digging. After a lot of hard work, the uncle found a vein of ore, so he
covered up his find and returned home to raise the money for the machinery that he would need to bring the ore to the surface.

They raised the money and Darby travelled with his uncle back to the site to make their fortune. Things started well and before long, they had enough to clear their debts. They were excited, everything from here on would be profit and things were looking good.

Then the supply of gold stopped. The vein of ore had disappeared. They kept on digging, but found NOTHING!

After a while, they quit in frustration and sold their machinery to a junk man for a few hundred dollars.

After they went home in disappointment, the astute junk man called in a mining engineer who checked the mine and calculated that there was a vein of gold just three feet from where Darby and his uncle had stopped digging.

The junk man went on to make MILLIONS from the mine."

End of Story.

Just three feet more was all that Darby and his uncle had to dig to get there. But they quit and the junk man was the lucky one.

How easily do you quit? When you've decide to do anything and you start facing serious problems and challenges, what do you do?

How do you react in the face of trying times? Do you back out or do you passionately keep putting in your best?

Nothing comes easy. To achieve whatever you want in this life, you gotta smartly work for it and put in your best. Don't quit. As long as you have the passion for it, for God's sake DON'T QUIT!

Never back down! The darkest hour is usually just before dawn! Whatever challenge you're facing right now in your life, don't let it stop you from trying. Be rest assured that if you keep trying you will certainly get what you want.

Don't be a quitter. Keep pushing, keep working, keep pressing on. If you can run,  run! If you can walk, walk! If you can crawl, crawl! If you can limp, limp!  If you can fly, fly! But never ever stop moving, because when you stop, everything also stops including the very good things you deserve.

Don't quit, be like a Spartan.. No retreat, No surrender. Live or Die, never give up!

Keep winning!
